Online Career Assessment (Approx. 30 mins)
A psychometric assessment designed to help identify strengths, interests, personality traits, preferred work styles, and possible career directions.
Assessment Interpretation Session (Approx. 30 mins)
A personalised session with our Career Development Consultant to explain the assessment results clearly, answer questions, and help participants better understand their profile.
One-to-One Career Guidance Session (Approx. 60 mins)
A personalised discussion focused on:
- suitable study options
- possible career pathways
- personal goals and concerns
- future planning and decision-making
Personal Career Action Plan (Approx. 30 mins)
A practical and personalised plan with recommended next steps, development areas, short-term goals, and longer-term objectives.

Our career counselling is led by Kesho Gooriah, founder of Soft Skills Consultants (Mauritius) Ltd and the only Registered Career Development Professional under the Career Development Institute (UK) currently practising in Mauritius.
Kesho brings over 40 years of experience, including seven years in the UK (2002–2009) working with international students. He holds:

2. What is a career assessment?
A career assessment is a psychometric tool designed to help identify strengths, interests, personality traits, preferred work styles, and possible career directions.
It helps participants better understand themselves before making important study or career decisions.
3. Is the assessment recognised?
Yes. We use internationally recognised psychometric assessments that are widely trusted for career guidance and development purposes.
4. Is the assessment completed online?
Yes. The assessment is completed online and can be done from home or any convenient location.
5. How long does the package take?
The full package includes approximately 3.5 hours of sessions spread across different stages of the process.
Sessions can be scheduled flexibly over a few days or weeks depending on availability and individual needs.
6. Can the sessions be done online?
Yes. Participants may choose between face-to-face sessions at our office or online sessions via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
7. Will I receive a report?
Yes. Participants receive a career assessment report, which is explained during the interpretation session with the Career Development Consultant.
8. Do parents need to attend?
Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate in the process, especially when supporting younger students with important study and career decisions.
9. Is this package only for students?
No. The package is also suitable for graduates, professionals, and adults considering a career change or seeking clearer career direction.
10. What if I need additional sessions?
Additional guidance sessions may be arranged if further support is needed.
Extra counselling sessions are available at Rs. 1,000 per hour.
11. Do you provide guidance for studying abroad?
Yes. We provide guidance on study options and institutions both in Mauritius and internationally, based on the participant’s goals, interests, budget, and preferences.
12. Can you also help with jobs or internships?
Yes. As a registered recruitment agency, we also provide support with:
- CV preparation
- Interview guidance
- Internship opportunities
- Job search support
These services may be offered separately depending on the participant’s needs.
13. Does the package guarantee a specific career, university placement, or job?
No. The package is designed to provide structured guidance, practical recommendations, and support for informed decision-making. Final decisions remain the responsibility of the participant and/or parent.
